Hi Everyone,
My name is Syndi Smallwood, MAS, CPC, ELI-MP I have a very interesting background, which is how I ended up here as a Certified Professional Coach! After working in the fields of education and business as an executive for many years and always dreaming of what it would be like to have my own business I finally had the opportunity to find out and I am so happy about this experience – it truly is a dream come true for me!
This is my story: I have been married and divorced, more than once. I have beautiful children that I am very proud of who are on their own making life choices. I worked long and hard for many years sacrificing my home-life to get an education and to have a career. I went to work every day wondering if that was the day I would get laid-off for some statistical reason and I also wondered with everything that I knew, “Why didn’t I start my own business???” that is what I really wanted! Well the answer was simple – I was Afraid! I was so comfortable in a less than secure position and my less than secure marriage, but that felt safer to me than doing anything about it. I was a afraid to step outside of the comfort zone I had created.
I knew I was not alone in this kind of a dilemma, so many people feel trapped by their circumstances that they won’t make any changes. Although when you really think about it we create our circumstances – whether we want to own that knowledge or not – it is true! But, here is the best part – we can change those circumstances! I did.
So here I am – a Transitional Life Coach, because I want to help people like me who are asking themselves the same questions I asked, who are afraid, who are stuck, BUT who want to make changes and move forward towards goals and possibilities of what change can bring!
I am also a Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. This is a great bonus for my Clients who get to learn about how we are all made of energy, but we may be using it to our benefit or our detriment. This is such important work and when we work together my Clients get an ELI Assessment and Debrief that will open a whole new world of possibilities!
